Today's weather is mostly rainy and overcast with pure hatred for the human race. In the afternoon it should brighten up with a can of whoop ass and a milder front should be heading this way...

Ohh what is this, a journal entry in the middle of the day when I should be hard at work poking people in an appropriate manner?! Well courtesy of my lovely local neighbour children I am sat bored as fuck at home waiting for the glazier guy to come fix my lovely new broken front window and charge me for the privilege!

Sadly all children are at school at this hour so I can not go on a psychopathic judas style killing rampage, ho hum. I can however get down to some work on a new watercolour painting which is currently in progress as the thing is so big I haven't had time to finish it...so watch this space! (if you have nothing better to do!)

:shakefish:

(NB: on pondering the thought of mass murder, I don't think it was actually Judas who murdered all the first borns in the bible, so apolgies to him for that one!)

time flies...

....when your busy as f**k.

Not a lot to report, but will hopefully be back to the watercolours again as have a ton of sketches to paint up and get out of my brain. Also been making a lot of those lil shadow/curio boxes some of which got screwed to the wall at work which was quite nice.
Other than that pretty friggin shattered of late, and so in need of a long break/holiday. Although maybe able to squeeze in a few trips to the seaside in the not so distant warmer future and am just waiting for convention season to kick in fully as thinking of going to sunny wales for one.

Oh and I realised after a few weeks of brain rot and going slightly insane, that today, the 17th of May, one whole year ago I tattooed my first ever paying customer, which is a very surreal thought. If someone had said to me I would be doing what I am doing now in a years time I would of undoubtedly cackled in their face! I even spendt the day inking some lovely people, one regular and one of my fav regulars was the last of the day and got some old school purple roses as a cover up. Who would of thought I would have regulars as well?!? :O The world has at last completely lost the plot..

F**k nuts!

Other news of crapness, my pc is broken so have been borrowing the boss's laptop over the last few days, but as of tomorrow it is going back so I will be offline for however long it takes to fix the old one or rob a bank to buy a new one. arse meats!

Wow, that was busy last 2 weeks, so much so that a new journal entry is in order...

So on the ink front, we had the first Brighton Tattoo convention the weekend before last which me and the boss plus fella of the boss hob nailed on down to for the weekend. Most of the time was spendt in Brighton itself as it is a lovely place to go (dreams of creaky old house by the sea, ah le sigh). We then went to the convention for a few hours, had a look round and spendt stupid money on supplies and books of greatness. Talking of which, if you like your old school old and traditional then defiently check out this book :[link]
Well worth the money and a brilliant addition to any book-aholics collection especially fans of the old stuff!
Also finally picked up a copy of Dave Fox's Book called haunted which is filled with bad ass illustrations and great for lovers of japanese ghost and demon myths! check it here if you haven't already! [link]

We sadly didn't stay too long as the main reason for the trip was a union meeting, so I didn't get to meet up with the infamous Mr MonkeyDeathCult, I owe you a drink at the next one though fella! :ahoy:

After that weekend of madness back to work, where I have been doing some really fab stuff this past week, which has been a really nice change from the usual flash and small work I usually do. That said I am feeling a lot more confident with my tattoo work now and really enjoying doing more colour work and shading stuff.

Other stuff, gradually working my way through piles of incomplete sketches, the next one up all lined and ready for a good old inking, and is in homage to my sick side and love for weird murder and unexplained cases and phenomia. I also got round to watching the black dahlia new film the other week so have got my version of the dahlia on the way.

More ink news...will hopefully be getting a few more hours work on my sleeve tomorrow...whoppeee! Haven't had any new ink for awhile so should be good times!

Mini-esque update as haven't posted for a little while, due to being completely un motivated in the painting department. You know when you have a million and one ideas raging through your brain, but no energy to get them out, well that is me now! Have about 6 sketches on the go that hopefully will come into fruitation soon, but am hit by the dreaded winter lurgy so they will have to wait. Ho hum!

So as I have nothing too exciting to report, onto some randomness courtesy of mr monkey death cult the swine!
(so better get on with that I suppose before plaques of horrible things come and infest my hair or something?!?)

The Rules
1. 8 random facts about tag-ee
2. Tags should be in a journal/ blog
3. At the end of the post 8 more persons are tagged and named
4. Go to their page and leave a comment telling them they're tagged

Randomness ahoy:

1. I have quite long fingers and huge hands for a girl (ohhhh ahhh this is going to be exciting facts for you!)

2. I used to sell smut for a living and could probably tell you more than you needed to know about adult films and products (I was trained by the jedi porn masters oh yes!)

3. I see dead people- sorry that should be I collect dead things *ahem*

4. I have a shit sense of humour (see above)

5. I like nuns and I am not sure why.

6. My cat aka the fur baby Gabriel, looks like a giant teddy bear which has had it's stomach stuffing pulled out.

7. I love to dance but hate people watching me. I also love to sing but the same applies. (which is probably a good thing to save peoples ear drums!)

8. I'm so goth I shit blood.... :omg:

And I defy the rules as I can't figure out how to make the little boxes of peoples names to tag them. My brain hurts and is refusing to cooperate.
