Japanese Midnight Skull by Scarlet-Hel Japanese Midnight Skull by Scarlet-Hel
A3
Letra set pro markers

Loosely based on the head of a skull from a wood block print by the japanese artist Hokusai (here: [link] ).

My first venture in japanese style tattoo design/drawing.

VERY cool drawing. Mind if I use it as a base to design a tattoo?

Cheeky! Tbh, you would be much better off looking at the work of Hokusai as this is where I got the inspiration for this piece from. Also if this style kind of interests you then check out other edo period wood block artists of the time there are loads!
Thanks for looking.

Aw, thank you so much! Yeah I like the colours on this one, I tend to go towards daker hues that the bright ones, although this piece cuased my pens to run out, so may have to wait till I get some new ones to do a new japanese inspired piece!
