Now this didn't turn out how I expected at all.
Based on the infamous murder mystery of Elizabeth Short aka The Black Dahlia. Having an existing interest in this true life story of horribleness, I recently watched the movie and was totally inspired so I had to create a piece for it thus how this came about. The random flowers are my very 'artistically licensed' version of dahlia flowers (yeah I like to over do my theme whereever possible). So, this is for Ms Short, who only really finally found her fame at last through a most brutal and gruesome end. "Victims are known only by their absence...by the moment of their destruction" (unknown) Just bigger than A4, ink, watercolour, marker and acylic paint. |
